Ireland - North Coast Scenic Drive

The Carrick-a-rede rope bridge is made up of planks strung between wires. It was originally built by fishermen hundreds of years ago so they could easily check their salmon nets. One end of the net was attached to the island and the other was laid out in an arc to trap the approaching salmon.
